Warwick needs vision for the future
Who holds these public employees to account? In most businesses there are annual performance reviews, the councillors (our representatives) should be all over these records (if they exist) to hold to account the public servants who seem to fail so miserably in these areas. Where are their plans and ideas? And please let’s not just see the usual release of smoke and mirrors telling us why they can’t do things, but the things they have done, and would like to do. Their view of the future could be the start of a much needed debate, in conjunction with the imminent release of the 15-year Warwick town centre plan. So councillors and county officers please take this opportunity to communicate with us the taxpayer, and we your electorate, your thoughts and plans, and then have our public consultation. - Alan Priestley, Smith Street, Warwick
