Kenilworth opticians collects hundreds of glasses for charity
Specsavers, in Talisman Square, collected the glasses on behalf of Kenilworth Lions, who sort and grade the glasses before sending them overseas where charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) will donate them to those who need them.
Store director Ambreena Ahsan Bhatti said: “It makes sense for us to support a cause that works towards improving someone’s eyesight.

“We will continue to collect old pairs of specs, so if you have any unwanted or old glasses please do not hesitate to donate them.”
MSF is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
Anyone wishing to donate a pair of glasses is encouraged to visit the store.
